“A simple rule dictates my buying: Be fearful when others are greedy and be greedy when others are fearful.”
– Warren Buffett, Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B) CEO, has shared this advice before and offered it to readers of The New York Times in an Op-ed piece today (see cnnmoney.com for an overview). Buffett reasons that in fearful times, people are reluctant to invest their cash in the stock market. But cash, he notes, is a “terrible” long term asset that pays basically nothing–and will depreciate in value as government action to shore up the economy likely leads to higher inflation. Equities, meanwhile, will almost certainly outperform cash long-term since many companies are healthy and will return to posting profits after a few tough quarters.
In the Unit Trust business we help people to see Mr. Buffett point of view. Invest long and you will not regret.

Money! Everybody loves money. Songs have been written about it, movies made about it, relationships ended over it; it’s such an emotional subject to many. Why is that? Robert Kiyosaki, in his book, Rich Dad, Poor Dad really clears it up and helps the reader to better understand what money really is. If you haven’t read his book, I highly recommend it. You’ll learn that one of the biggest things that makes the difference between someone who understands money and someone who doesn’t is simply attitude.
Doesn’t it always come down to that… the “A” word… attitude. It’ll make you or break you. Of course a big concern about starting a business is having enough money to fund it and get it off the ground. It’s a frustrating contradiction… you need money to get clients, but you need clients to get money and so the catch-22 goes, round and round seeming to never end. We can help you get unstuck and break free from this seemingly endless paradox. We can help you get your business up and running and generating income so fast that you’ll quickly have your clients paying for start up and growth costs.
Join the unit trust business. In Malaysia this is one of the fastest growing business. You can attend our business preview. Register for our seminar.

I was up in Bangi this afternoon to coach two of my new unit trust consultants, Mr. Thanga and En. Abi. Thanga was so nice to offer his office in Kompleks Diamond for our meeting and future meetings of agents in Kajang and Bangi area. Thanga has a successful transport business and has started doing the unit trust business a few months back. I call him the Dollar or Ringgit Cost Averaging (RCA) King. He has been using the Ringgit Cost Averaging principle and had previously made good money from the stock market. He is now using this strategy on the unit trust investments. During this time, we advice all our customers to Ringgit Cost Average their investments to get the maximum benefits.
Abi passed his Unit Trust exam before Hari Raya and just got his Agent Code (licence to sell). Abi was over-whelmed by the information and books that I have given him to read. We taught Abi how to fill up the investments forms for both EPF and cash investments. I have also given them ‘applications for investment forms’ and have left some promotional materials, motivational books and CDs in Thanga’s office so that new Consultants can borrow and learn more about the business. We are committed to build this business together. We also have a teacher in Bangi who will be joining us soon. My target is to build a group of 50 agents in Kajang/Bangi before the end of 2009.
I feel good that I can help my consultants to build this unit trust business. Before we part, I agree that I will go to Bangi every forthnightly to coach and support my consultants.

To excel in this industry, one need to differentiate oneself. We have an excellent product and excellent delivery system. All agents involve in this industry will be able to get hold of these two items. So how does oneself differentiate from another agent.
Yes, you guess it right. It is the service level. You may start off at the ‘basic level’, providing list of funds you are distributing and signing up investors but every other agent is doing it. You move up to the expected level and then to desire level. Providing regular updates on client portfolio and market updates. If you can do this, it is good. But what started as desire becomes basic because all agents will soon be doing this.
So what do you do next? You surprise the client. You sent him a birthday cake to surprise him or her. Spent a fortune. Anyone can do this. So to excel in customer service you must do something ‘unbelieveable’. Yes, do something ‘unbelieveable’ and your client will have a lasting impression on you. Do you do it again and again? No. You just need to do it once and your customer will remember it for a life time. Ron Kaufman, the ‘Guru in Customer Service’, once described how a taxi company got a taxi driver to go up to his hotel room to give him a wake up call because his phone was off the line. By doing so he did not missed his flight. After this incident he was so grateful that he only takes taxis from this company.
Something different happens when you provide unbelieveable service. Unbelieveable service builds loyalty.

In this business, you are in the Business of Building Business Builders. This job is to build people up so that you can build the business together! In this Business, you develop PEOPLE, not products. Yes, you’re still moving products/services. That’s where the money comes from. But while you’re helping your new people move products, you’re also helping them remove their self-imposed limitations!
You are adding opportunity to people’s lives! You are adding time and money freedom. You are adding personal growth, friendship, positive attitude, hope, leadership, values-based community of BELIEVERS AND ACHIEVERS!
We are building business builders. We are developing long-term relationships with people. That’s a vastly different business from Banks distributing unti trust products.
